Let's rewind
The idea for America Lake Apparel came to life on the shores of Conneaut Lake, PA – where our founder spent many summers growing up. The memories of swimming, fishing, and boating on the lake stayed with him into adulthood.
One day while looking for a Conneaut Lake shirt to buy, he quickly became aware that there weren’t any good options to choose from. From Amazon.com to the local boat marinas around the lake, a decent Conneaut Lake shirt with a solid design couldn’t be found. That is when he decided to create his own.
We started with a few designs for one small lake in Pennsylvania. Then another idea came to life – people all over this great country are probably having the same problem!
From then on, we expanded our collection to include a wide range of clothing designs for all ages, all designed with the same mission in mind. We recently took that one step further by providing custom design options. This allows us to reach anyone in the country who has a favorite lake and not just those whom we already have a design for.

Custom designs
While we do have plenty of designs to already choose from, we understand that we cannot make one for every lake in the country. That is why we give our customers the option to put whichever lake name they want on various designs. To do this, check out our Custom section in the Shop.
Charity
New to our business model, a portion of every sale will soon be donated to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. As part of their commitment to support America’s heroes, they provide mortgage-free homes to families of Gold Star and fallen first responders with young children, and build custom-designed smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. In addition, they are committed to ending veteran homelessness and provide aid to victims of major U.S. natural disasters.
